Project Life: Week 9

For starters... Happy Easter!

I'm back again today with another week!! Week 9 to be exact. A few more days and I will be all caught up!

With this week came March 1...and with that came March Photo A Day by Chantelle. I attempted this photo a day challenge in February, however, failed miserably. I decided I would give it another go this month.

Also this week...Chris and I went to Culver's for dinner and delicious ice cream..Kori came over for a sleep over... I started reading Catching Fire, the 2nd book of the Hunger Games....Chris and I went and looked at engagement rings at the mall!!! We found a couple we really liked (pictured above)...I picked out my shoes for Gina's wedding...a long story about my issues with telemarketers this week...and new shoes Mom handmade for Kori!!

Hero Arts doily stamp on plain ol white card stock. Of course more washi..can't go without! 2 labels from Ocotber Afternoon..thickers..of course (wishing I would have bought a few more packs of this brown glitter, they are a fav and I've almost used up all my "e's") twine and a fiskars butterfly punch(covered in washi of course ;) ) that sums up my simple week title card this time around.

I stamped a dotted circle (fiskars I believe) and punched it out for a quick n cute label. A little journaling about shopping with Chris for engagement rings!!!
Made a couple of embellished cards to add color to my week's spread. More washi..really gonna have to buy more of that stuff.. An older butterfly diecut...not sure where from anymore, I think it came out of a kit...cute circle embellishment from new SC stamps. These puppies are getting plenty of use lately. I love how versatile they are! Cute little October Afternoon label sticker over my picture.

A little more stamping from a SC days of the week set. Echo Park label, cut smaller and washi to finish off the spread.

My method for making this project work for me is to keep it simple. Focus on the pictures and stories. I like to add a little embellishing here and there to "cute it up" and add some color.

Thanks for stopping by! I will back again tomorrow with week 10! YAY!
