Project Life: Week 11

Back again with week 11!

I bought my iPad the beginning of week 11! So glad I made that purchase. It never leaves my side! I hosted a Pure Romance party for my sister in law Heather, which was more successful that I thought it would be! Received my Project Life protectors and journaling cards this week! We also started an origami star project at school which seems like it'll be fun!

The end of is week began spring break for me at school! Chris and I had taken the next week off to take a little getaway to Roaring River in south Missouri! I had a blast fly fishing and relaxing!
Lots of Studio Calico on this weeks title card! Love that hexagon map paper! The map background stamp I used is also a favorite! Used a new date stamp from SC as well. Thickers and twine finish it off.

The back of last weeks SMASH envelope peaking through. It was just too cute too cover up! A journaling card about my PR party!

I saved my daily fishing tags from the river to include. They kept wanting to come out the top so I secured them with a little AC washi...the added color didn't hurt either.

Still need to print one picture(accidentally printed it in the wrong size..oops) a quote said by a man at WalMart to Chris and I. Hehe.. Used Sassafrass for SC letters and EP. And of course washi! HA!

Tattoos gave put on us on St. Pattys day. Washi and a Little Yellow Bicycle sticker. More Sassafrass letters for my journaling about the trip.

I included my origami practice star from class..made from an ad in a scrapbook magazine HA! FYI label came from a tin of sticky notes I got at Blick art supply in St. Louis!

The opposite side of my insert contains a pocket of rules and a post card from the river. Paper from the LUSH line.

That pretty much sums up my week! I'll be back tomorrow for week 12!

Project Life: Week 10

I'm back for week 10 of my project life album...and still totally in love with this project!

A pretty average week for the most part...for the exception of Mom's accident.

Still attending class..ready for the end of the semester already. New flats found at Wal-Mart! Only $5! Mom was in an accident in town...totaled her car :( Had to clean the office this week.

Finished the Hunger Games books..wrote a little about that. Chris and I went to on a dinner/movie date. Gina had her bridal shower...still waiting on that picture from her. Watched all the episodes of Walking Dead on Netflix....also a little journaling about no much we love Netflix!

Sme stamping for my week title card. Hero Arts background stamp. Fiskars letter stamps. Washi..of course...twine, thickers, OA label and tab stickers. Butterfly punch...also fiskars.

Cute little embellished card. Loving this new SC chevron stamp! Instant favorite..washi, OA label and scallop circle. Super simple. Quick.

Labels and OA letter stickers (totally love these) over some pictures.

Journaling about Netflix...more OA letters. SMASH! Journal card..super cute.

Used

Used a SMASH! Mini envelope and OA letters to house movie ticket and a little journaling on a SC label stamp(the long date one).

That sums up another spread! I hope you will join me tomorrow for a look into week 11! I'm almost there!!!

Project Life: Week 9

For starters... Happy Easter!

I'm back again today with another week!! Week 9 to be exact. A few more days and I will be all caught up!

With this week came March 1...and with that came March Photo A Day by Chantelle. I attempted this photo a day challenge in February, however, failed miserably. I decided I would give it another go this month.

Also this week...Chris and I went to Culver's for dinner and delicious ice cream..Kori came over for a sleep over... I started reading Catching Fire, the 2nd book of the Hunger Games....Chris and I went and looked at engagement rings at the mall!!! We found a couple we really liked (pictured above)...I picked out my shoes for Gina's wedding...a long story about my issues with telemarketers this week...and new shoes Mom handmade for Kori!!

Hero Arts doily stamp on plain ol white card stock. Of course more washi..can't go without! 2 labels from Ocotber Afternoon..thickers..of course (wishing I would have bought a few more packs of this brown glitter, they are a fav and I've almost used up all my "e's") twine and a fiskars butterfly punch(covered in washi of course ;) ) that sums up my simple week title card this time around.

I stamped a dotted circle (fiskars I believe) and punched it out for a quick n cute label. A little journaling about shopping with Chris for engagement rings!!!
Made a couple of embellished cards to add color to my week's spread. More washi..really gonna have to buy more of that stuff.. An older butterfly diecut...not sure where from anymore, I think it came out of a kit...cute circle embellishment from new SC stamps. These puppies are getting plenty of use lately. I love how versatile they are! Cute little October Afternoon label sticker over my picture.

A little more stamping from a SC days of the week set. Echo Park label, cut smaller and washi to finish off the spread.

My method for making this project work for me is to keep it simple. Focus on the pictures and stories. I like to add a little embellishing here and there to "cute it up" and add some color.

Thanks for stopping by! I will back again tomorrow with week 10! YAY!

Project Life:Week 8

I'm back again with the 8th week of Project Life. I still totally love this project!

Not a lot of pictures this week. My ring finally came in! Chris and I made Pepperoni Mac Casserole, a recipe from Tamra. I started back at the gym...then quit again after pulling a muscle. I also started cleaning an office in town this week.

Used a Hero Arts background stamp, these work great for this project! A ditto label, plus my go to washi, thickers, and twine to complete my week's title card.

A couple journal cards for this week embellished with thickers and washi, plus more Sassafrass letters.

A shop unity stamp, representing the office I started cleaning, a stamped label for another quick journaling card. Used a Hero Arts background stamp, some washi, and some paper from the Lush line to make a pinwheel embellishment.

More lush paper, an Echo Park label and flag border, Sassafrass scallop border, washi and EP letter stickers embellish a card about our cooking Monday. A quick journal card about how I started reading the Hunger Games, stamped with a new SC set. An October Afternoon card for quick embellishing.

More embellishing for this week. SC and thickers lettering, stitched on. Lace background cut with the Cameo. Love being able to see through to the next week! Another little square with embellished goodies, ditto, EP, washi...

That sums up another week! I'll be back tomorrow with week 9!

Project Life:Week 7

Back again with week 7 of my Project LIfe! I still totally love this project! It was a week of love...even though we didn't actually celebrate on the actual holiday.

We got our first actual snow this season. Stew did my hair Thursday for mine and Chris's date. I loved all the curls! Chris took me to dinner at Buca Di Beppo on the plaza for Valentine's Day. We also got dessert at Cheesecake Factory! I made Chris some arrows for his card. I found the tutorial on Pinterest! At work, Nick made everyone funnel cakes as our month's safety incentive! They were delicious! Included my Valentine card from Chris as an insert this week.

I cut the clock face out of the alarm clock unity stamp. More circle embellishments. Washi, flags, thickers, and twine finish off my week's title!

I embellished the next few squares with a hambly overlay, perfect for the week. Added a heart punch, thickers, washi, and Sassafrass letters to finish it off. I love this color combo!

A simple card representing how we finally got some snow this season. Used some older snowflakes from my stash, not even sure anymore who made them :( sorry. Thickers and more Sassafrass letters, I think those are a new favorite. Sprinkle on some rhinestones and call it done.

New SC stamp and washi make a simple embellishment for my journaling about the funnel cake!

That wraps out another week! Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back tomorrow with week 8!

Project Life: Week 6

Back again today with my week #6 of Project Life. It was another pretty ordinary week. You will have to excuse my less than perfect pictures.

Ordered some stamps. Mom's side of the family came over for dinner and cards. Had a photo shoot with Kori and her stocking caps. Played with Peyton and tattoos. Had a date with Chris. Ordered my promise ring!!

A bit more stamping this week. Plenty of journaling.

Love this Glitz date stamp! Paired it with a Unity clock stamp for a fun embellishment. Thickers washi and twine complete this week's title square.

A new SC date stamp + thickers. Love the pink on pink!

Used the new SC background stamp and one from Studio AE + washi thickers + Sassafrass letters for a quick embellished spot.

That sums up another week! I will return tomorrow for week 7!!

Project Life: week 5

I'm back with another PL post!

It was a pretty great week overall. We celebrated my Dad's birthday, the family had dinner at Grandma's where we took turns passing around Ellis and Kori, Mom and I met Beth and Emily for lunch at Cracker Barrel with Kori. We shopped afterwards.

I even had an insert this week! Chris gave me my Valentine's teddy early. In Time came out. I watched it 4 times this week!

Hero Arts doily stamp on my week title. Thickers. Washi. Echo Park banner label. Twine.

Stamped label. Tiny attacher on a lunch receipt.

Used a new Studio Calico weekday stamp in several colors on a card. Love the result. I will be repeating this again in the future. Might even make several up for my stash soon.

More journal card stamping. SC. 7 Gypsies.

Some cards for the insert. Such a classy timeless color combo.

Used an arrow stamp to bullet my fb and twitter updates his week. Would like to incorporate some of these in my album every so often.

That sums up another week! I am still totally in love with this project! Hope you will join me tomorrow for week 6!
